Upcoming Support for Multiple Web Servers

In the next release I plan to introduce support for multiple web front-end servers. This is accomplished by automating updates to the Windows hosts file while the script is running. The App.config will support a list of IP addresses. Each one of these will be pushed into the hosts file, one at a time, then the URLs are crawled after the fact.

A backup of the hosts file is saved first, and then restored at the end of the whole process. The backup is stored in the same directory as the script, so if something bad happens (like a power failure) while SharePoint Warmup Script is running, you can manually restore the hosts file later.
